Introducing Fizzy, new from 37signals
Hey there—
It’s Jason Fried, CEO at 37signals (the makers of Basecamp & HEY).
It’s been a while since we’ve sent out a newsletter. Today’s a special one.
We just released a brand new product called Fizzy. I wanted to tell you about it, and invite you to try it out.
Fizzy is a fresh take on kanban, which is a visual method for organizing and tracking just about anything. It’s like a to-do list, except instead of checking things off, you move cards across columns as work moves through various stages of completion. It’s really a delightful way to stay on top of things and get stuff done.
For example, here’s how a property manager might use it.
We built it to track bugs, issues, and ideas for our own software business, but people are already using it to run home improvement projects, plan vacations, oversee podcast and video production, design gardens, and for general family planning, There’s even someone using it to make sure nothing slips through the cracks at a small car dealership.
While Basecamp is a full-blown project management platform with messaging, to-dos, kanban, scheduling, client access, chat, automation, files and documents and more, Fizzy is a lightweight, standalone product that purely focuses on the kanban method of tracking things.
Here’s a walkthrough video I recorded.
We’re really proud of it, and we’d love if you’d check it out. You can track 1000 things for free, so you have plenty of room to explore and use it for real.
You can check it out and sign up for free at Fizzy.do.
Have a great holiday season and a wonderful new year.
All the best,
—Jason
